  During the maturation process, spirit both evaporates and is absorbed by the cask.  This means that the amount of liquid you pour into a barrel will be different to the amount of liquid that leaves the barrel.  Distillers need to know exactly the amount of liquid so that they can predict how much product they will have in the end.  This information is vital for predicting profit and cash flow.  Cofficient’s DMS allows you to more accurately Re-Guage casks, so that there are no unpleasant surprises along the way.
