Simon Community Scotland Choose Cofficient to Implement NetSuite

The Cofficient business implementation team have, this week, been appointed by Simon Community Scotland, to implement NetSuite software into their charity business.   The Simon Community offer support and advice to people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Scotland.

Says Hugh Hill, Director of Services and Development at Simon Community Scotland, “We are an ambitious charity who thrives on constant development.  We always want to do more and have a clear vision for our future and for the kind of support we want to offer to our service users.  NetSuite is an opportunity to help us move closer to that vision.”

As part of a larger and ongoing change management project, the new NetSuite solution will be used by staff across the board, from service managers to volunteers, and will enhance the service offering by capturing more meaningful information about the service users.  The end goal is for the charity to respond better to the requirements of the users and to provide a more “joined-up” experience.  “The people within the Simon Community are often subject to very difficult life experiences.  We are always looking for ways to be able to give more to our community and to provide hope and opportunity for the people we work with.  This new investment will allow our managers to focus their time of leading and supporting the team using good information to continually improve our services to enhance our supportive environment” says Hill.

The key objectives include:  capturing critical information about the people we support; analysing  the information to help inform the growth and development of the organisation and providing a seamless flow of information between our support teams and partners to enhance service user experience.

“We chose Cofficient from a shortlist of partners because they understood our business requirements more closely than the other contenders.  It is crucial that we work with someone who understands and can support our mission and our values.  It became clear quite quickly that Cofficient could give us the reassurance we were looking for”.

Paul Tindal, Director at Cofficient says, “We are delighted to work with Simon Community Scotland. They are doing a wonderful job across Scotland of provisioning support and advice to those who have lost or fear losing their home.  It is a privilege to be invited to collaborate with them to help advance their insatiable ambition to do more”

Notes:

The Simon Community Scotland, formerly Glasgow Simon Community, has been working alongside people who experience homelessness in Scotland since 1966 and was formed on the same principles as the ground breaking work of Anton Wallich-Clifford in London during the early 1960s.

It now supports more than 2,300 people per year, with accommodation, personalised support and intensive outreach to prevent rough sleeping and provide assertive interventions for people who are highly vulnerable to complex needs and multiple exclusion.
