Eagle eyed Eagle Leisure spot opportunity to implement NetSuite ERP with long term Scottish partners, Cofficient Ltd.
For the family run hot tub, sauna and swimming pool company, April marked a significant month for the business. It was the month they decided to take their business to the next level by implementing a new cloud based ERP system NetSuite.
Sales & Marketing Director Deborah Ekins, says the software project marks the next phase of the business evolution.
Ekins; “We’ve had more inbound enquiries in April than any month prior, which coincides with our website relaunch and a new branding initiative. It became really obvious that we needed some new business software to complement our other initiatives. We want to be firing on all cylinders”.
Ekins originally started her search and select looking for a CRM system to help manage existing customers and the influx in new enquiries, but soon realised she should widen her scope to include a new financial solution too.
Says Ekins; “We have built our business around fantastic customer care. Eagle Leisure really is a traditional, family run business, where each customer is of the utmost importance to us. But we were finding it hard to hold ourselves up to our own exacting standards – I knew it was time to change.”
From a CRM perspective, the system will be a central data repository of all customer information and will log all interactions with customers including, case management history, sales and product information.
Eagle Leisure are also one of the first to deploy Cofficient Ltd custom built Service Asset Manager (SAM for NetSuite), which logs and manages all the assets on the customer estate including models, parts and warranty information.
All this will be tied into NetSuite finance which unifies the approach and makes the operation smart and seamless.
Now celebrating its 28th year, Eagle Leisure is the go-to company, for wet leisure, in Scotland. As well as swimming pool design and installation, the family run business are also the Coast Spas exclusive Scottish supplier. Husband and wife team, Joe and Karin Ekins, are still firmly at the helm of the successful Scottish business and have welcomed the recent modernisation to the business.
“We knew that cloud was the way forward” says Finance Director Karin Ekins. “We have been very successfully serving our customers for the last three decades. Our engineers are second to none and we have a fantastic client base. But Sage could only take us so far. It became obvious we needed to move to a cloud based system, one which our field service engineers can use when they are on a job, to really give our customers the very best experience. In truth, we also want our staff to have access to the most modern cloud based systems”.
Paul Grant, Director at Cofficient Ltd says, “Eagle Leisure is such a brilliant business, with really exciting products. There’s a lot of synergy between our business and our way of working. This system will be a big step forward in terms of managing their business. I can’t wait to roll my sleeves up and dive in!”
