SAP Business ByDesign gives fast-growing businesses the platform to turn growth potential into real results.  This cloud-based ERP solution connects every function across your company to time-tested best practices and in-depth analytics.  You’ll get the foundation to scale and compete without the complexity and cost.  But how much does SAP Business ByDesign Cost?  It’s not as complicated or as expensive as you might think.  SAP Business ByDesign is available for a monthly software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription, based on a base package, user types, and number of users.

SAP Business ByDesign Base Pack

The base package costs around £1344 per flat fee/month.

The base package of SAP Business ByDesign includes all components of the solution, shared as a public cloud offering with both a productive and test tenant.

  • Fully integrated suite of business processes including:
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
    • Human Resources (HCM)
    • Project Management
    • Product Lifecycle Management
    • Management Support
    • Supplier Relationship Management
    • Financials
    • Supply Chain Management (SCM)
    • Built-in Analytics
  • Two advanced users and three core users
  • Three country-specific versions (out of 20) in a dedicated multi-tenant system
  • Quarterly releases

 

What are the different user types and what can each access?

  1. Self-Service User
    Allow users to perform core self-service tasks, such as time and expense reporting, purchasing, travel-management and service confirmation.  The cost for additional self-service users is £16 per month.
  2. Core User
    Enable processes to support office workers, planners, accountants and sales with customer relationship management, purchasing, supply chain management and project management to help manage daily work activities. The cost for each additional core user is £89 per month
  3. Advanced User
    Provide advanced users with all available functionality including all core and self-service functionality.  Allow users to administrate, access the business configurations, user management as well as business analytics for report creation. Adding an advanced user will cost around £160 per month.

 

As with all software implementations, there will also be implementation costs.  Implementation costs will vary dependent on partner, scope of works and any integrations required.  It’s important to select a partner that understands your business and how to sculpt the solution to your requirements.
